For Tour Operators & Bus Companies

Doghobble Wine Farm is an easy, welcoming stop to add to a North Georgia wine-tour itinerary. We regularly host bus groups, and we’re glad to work with tour operators to make each visit smooth for your guests. Here’s what your company needs to know when planning a stop.

Reservations

Advance notice is required for all groups of 8 or more. Booking your group’s tasting ahead of time guarantees seating and lets us staff for your arrival.

Drop-off and pick-up

Buses load and unload in front of the Trellis, our white farmhouse tasting room.

Bus parking

On-site parking for large buses isn’t guaranteed. Space may be available in the lower lot, but we recommend arranging off-site parking in advance.

Visit length

Saturday visits are limited to about two hours, which works well for most tour itineraries. For a longer stop, weekday and Sunday visits allow more time.

Group size

Groups of 8–14 are seated in our tasting venues; groups of 15 or more are arranged as private events through our Event Coordinator.

Building an itinerary or planning a recurring stop for your tours? We’re happy to help you coordinate the details.

Good to Know Before You Arrive

A few things to know as you plan, so everyone in your group knows what to expect.

Food and drink

No need to bring anything — our pizza truck serves wood-fired pizza Thursday through Sunday, alongside handmade empanadas and a seasonal chef’s board. Outside food and beverages, including alcohol, aren’t permitted on the property in keeping with Georgia law. Come hungry and let us take care of the rest.

Choosing your day

Saturdays are our busiest and liveliest day, and group visits on Saturdays are kept to about two hours so every group gets a great experience. For a slower, more relaxed afternoon, a weekday or Sunday visit gives your group more time to settle in.

Guests under 21

Groups that include guests under 21 are seated at the Pavilion, our covered outdoor wine bar with views of the vineyard and farm animals — a relaxed, welcoming spot for the whole group.

Reservations and seating

Booking ahead is what guarantees your group’s spot. When you reserve, we’ll place your group at the venue best suited to your size and the day, so everyone is comfortable.

A shared space

Doghobble is a shared space, and we want every visitor to enjoy it. We ask that groups keep things friendly and considerate of other guests. As at any winery, guests who appear visibly intoxicated won’t be served.

Planning a Group Visit

Doghobble welcomes groups of all sizes. Here’s how to plan your visit based on your group size.

Groups of 8–14

Reserve a Self-Guided or Guided Tasting ahead of your visit. Advance notice is required for all groups of 8 or more so we can give your party the best possible seating and service. Groups of 8 or more are placed on a single tab, and a 20% gratuity is automatically applied. There’s no minimum spend — just plan your itinerary so you have time to enjoy everything.

Groups of 15 or More

Groups of 15 or more are hosted as private events. Our Event Coordinator, Jess Piraino, will help you choose the right space and plan the details. Reach out at jess@doghobblevineyard.com to get started.
